The Internship program at the Reading Science Center offers an opportunity for local students to obtain work experience within a non-profit organization. Internships are available each semester, including summer. Applicants may attend Alvernia, Albright, RACC, Penn State Berks and other Universities who may be learning remotely within the Greater Reading area. Areas of interest may include STEM, education, marketing, business, or other fields that may relate to the Science Center.
Qualifications:
Self-starter who can produce great results with limited supervision.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to interact, & inspire 5th grade Reading School District girls.
Pass all PA required clearances for working with children.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Details:
This is a paid internship, college credit is available.
Start/end date to correspond with Universities Academic Calendar.
